For five days over 100 children joined together at a 'seaside village in Galilee', created by Trinity Lutheran Church and Preschool. Each day they learned that Jesus was 'powerful', healing the sick, raising the dead, calming the storms and feeding thousands with two fish and five loaves of bread. They explored authentic marketplace shops, became students in a synagogue school, took part in games, watched lively dramas, enjoyed daily family traditions, danced to lively songs, and sampled tasty tidbits. During gathering they all took a special moment to sing praises to God 'He is everything we need' as they brought forward offerings to him who loves them to give to those whom God also loves, the homeless and needy in our community. Over 630 items were brought in, overflowing the well in which they were placed. We pray that God was able to multiply their gift and touch the hearts of those who received it. Until 2008, God Bless.
