Redding Crop Walk 2006

October was a busy Month for Redding Loaves and Fishes Volunteers. We were one of two Charity Organizations choosen from here in Redding and Shasta County to receive a percentage of the Crop Walk 2006 fundraiser!

Sign up and registration was held at the All Saints Episcopal Church. Cropwalkers help provide relief and development assistance in more than 80 countries including the United States. Up to 25% of what Crop Walk raises in communities assist food banks, pantries, community gardens and other hunger fighting programs. Redding Loaves and Fishes 2nd Annual Help the Hungry Benefit Dinner

The month of October also saw Redding Loaves and Fishes Second Annual Help the Hungry Benefit Dinner Sponsored by Redding V.F.W. Post 1934. Wonderfull door prizes and silent auction items were donated by generous local area merchants. A big thank you to Volunteer Gary Mercer for slaving hours in the kitchen to provide a terrific Italian style dinner.
